Well.. our very first guest on this blog is Jenn from Lancaster, Pennsylvania .. and she had some pictures to share with us. Jenn’s blog is : jenn.nu

Hi! I’m Jenn, and I live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (though my hometown is Philadelphia; we moved to Lancaster when I was 13 years old. I am now 24!). Yes, Lancaster as in home of the PA Dutch aka Amish Country. I live four miles away from the famous Strasburg Railroad (www.strasburgrailroad.com), and I am surrounded by farms, fields and Amish. I share the road with the Amish and their horse-drawn buggies, and I love raising my children in the quiet countryside that is still just an hour’s drive from two major cities: Harrisburg and Philadelphia.

Horsey..!

My favorite..!! cows..!!

Horsey again.

According to Jenn .. this path is not used often. And that the preferred mode of transportation in her area is motor vehicle, and then followed by horse drawn buggy.

Train..!!
Thank you so much Jenn..!!! Yer awesome..!!

Well.. i guessed i should start first.. introducing the little town I am in and called home some 8 yrs ago. Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.. is a very small town.. with a population of about 8,000. Although, it is not considered stone age here.. for we do have high speed internet and Wi-Fi .. there are things that can be changed with the times. Of course, we don’t have very many good restaurants here.. and that’s my biggest peeve.
This is a pretty small community and since we owned our own business for the last 9 yrs.. you can say we know just about everyone in town.. or those that we donch probably knows us too. The folks here are mostly simple and down to earth people but if you are visiting Nova Scotia .. you probably prefer Halifax.. the city instead. For whale watching.. fishing .. and clamming or even lighhouses tours .. then Yarmouth would be a great place to be.
Yarmouth is one of the gateway into Canada. From Maine.. you are only a boat ride away.. on the CAT about 5.5 - 6hrs. Or Scotia Prince that is a wee bit longer but folks from the States said.. they prefer Scotia Prince to the CAT for it is less choppy.
Welcome to my photo blog from around the world. Will you help me collate pictures of your world.. to show my daughter Chloe. Maybe, some day in the near future.. we can visit your town, country.. and the places of interest you want to share with us. Thank you so much for being part of my project to show my daughter.. that there is a huge world out there.
